The Ellis Rowan Project
Ellis Rowan was an internationally renowed artist, painting some 3,000 works that reflected her exploration of Australia. Her family home was here in Mount Macedon during the late 1800's.
We believe that a life-size bronze sculpture of Ellis Rowan in Mount Macedon is a fitting tribute to this remarkable woman. Sculptor Jennifer Mann is preparing to undertake this project as a global movement for more statues of notable women is underway.
To help us realise this vision, we would welcome donations.
Donations are tax deductible as part of the Australian Cultural Fund via the following link.
